Republika

The "Republika" online medium was registered as a domain in 2009, but it only started working in 2012, when the "Republika" weekly print paper began its publication as well. The two media operated under the same management but were separate from the beginning. The medium was intended for publishing daily news, while the weekly was meant for longer stories and analyses.

From the beginning, both the online medium and the weekly published content in favor of the right-wing VMRO-DPMNE party and attacked its competitors. The media were considered part of the propaganda media network of the party while it was in power. The weekly ceased publication shortly after the change of government in 2017; however, the online medium has continued to operate. "Republika" has retained its political orientation, which is evident in the content of its columns, interviews and other content.
