Sitel

"Sitel" is the oldest Macedonian private television that continues to operate to date. It was established in 1997 by the then politically active Ljubisav Ivanov - Zingo, local official from Kratovo and the president of the Socialist Party. In the privatization transitional period of the 1990s, he became the owner of the mining complex "Sileks", where he previously held a management position.

In 2003, his son, Goran Ivanovski took over the management and ownership of the television.

"Sitel" was one of the main media allies of the government of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. After the fall of Gruevski, the editorial team was changed, and since 2017, the television has been a relatively politically neutral medium.
