Vecer.mk

"Vecer mk" news website started working in 2004 as an online edition of "Vecer" daily newspaper. The newspaper and the website functioned as one medium until 2017, when, with a small team of journalists, the editor Ivona Talevska parted ways with the publication, turning the "Vecer mk" website into a separate medium. This turn of events forced the newspaper to register a site with a different domain.
According to the oldest available data, the news website "Vecher.mk" and its predecessor "Vecher.com.mk" were not registered by the company that published the newspaper, but by the firm "Maksmedia", owned by former editor Dragan Pavlovic Latas. This allowed Talevska to separate the printed and electronic editions and to continue managing the news website independently from the newspaper.
Since then, the companies that publish the newspaper and the news website have been in a silent institutional and court battle for the "Vecer" brand. In its impressum, the medium states that it is part of the "Medianet group", together with the "Vesnik.com" and "Vesti.mk" news websites.

Under their leadership, the television became the most watched in the country, but also the strongest media supporter of the government, praising its policies and attacking its critics.
