CBC “Alfa”
Commercial Broadcasting Company "Alfa" (TRD Alfa) operates "Alfa" Television, which broadcasts general format programming with a national license. It is fully owned by the company "Alfa Skop", which, in turn, is owned by four other companies - "CHS Invest" (57 percent), "Makosped" (17 percent), "Tehnometal Vardar" (15 percent) and "Evropa" (11 percent). The company "Alfa Skop'' and its majority owner "CHS Invest" have no visible activities in other professional fields, while the minority shareholders are active in shipping ("Makosped"), confectionery industry ("Evropa"), and "Tehnometal Vardar" was a trading company, which is now in bankruptcy. "CHS Invest" is dominantly owned by Hungarian citizen Peter Schatz, who worked in the media business in Hungary and Slovenia. There is no information that the minority shareholders had previous cooperation with Peter Schatz or with the previous owner of "CHS Invest", the Serbian businessman Veselin Jevrosimovic. They entered the television company as partners of the Macedonian businessman Sterjo Nakov, who had the dominant share from 2008 to 2012, but remained in the ownership structure even though the majority package changed owners twice.
