The Company for trade and services "Em Media DOO Skopje" was founded in 2009 by Aco Misajlovski, the brother of politician Vlado Misajlovski from the then ruling party of VMRO-DPMNE. After founding the company, he registered the "Kurir.mk" website. Misajloski had no prior experience in the media business. In 2015, when his brother was appointed minister of transport and communications, he sold the company to Sase Stojanovski, then editor of the website. He, on the other hand, sold the majority shares in 2017 to the company with Hungarian capital "Adinamik" media and remained a minority shareholder. "Em Media" is the owner of several websites such as "Denesen.mk" for political news, "Ekonomski.mk" for economic news and "Zdravstvo.mk" for healthcare topics.
