Biljana Troshanovska
Biljana Troshanovska is the sister of the founder of "Fokus", Nikola Mladenov. After the death of Mladenov in a traffic accident near Skopje in 2013, she, together with Mladenov's wife, Biljana Mladenova, and the then chief editor Jadranka Kostovska, continued the publication of the weekly magazine that briefly stopped publication after the accident.

The founder of the newspaper, a well-known Macedonian journalist. He was the brother of current owner and CEO of "Fokus", Biljana Troshanovska. The Macedonian Media Institute named the yearly award for the best investigative story in his honour “Nikola Mladenov award”.
The wife of the late founder of Fokus, also works at the daily paper. She has been at the medium since its beginnings. As a representative of Fokus, Biljana Mladenova is a founder of the Association of print media. The association was initiated by several people and in 2018 they achieved their goal of getting state subsidies for print media.
