Family Velija

The Velija family is a well-known business family in North Macedonia, which owns the "VeVe Group" company and "Alsat-M" television. "VeVe Group" is one of the country's largest consulting companies and provides services in energy, transportation, environment, and other sectors.

It works with state institutions and large companies from several countries in the region. "Alsat-M" television is a daughter-company of "VeVe Group". The key bearer of business decisions in the family is considered to be Ferik Velia, the general director of both the "VeVe Group" and the commercial radio broadcasting company "Alsat-M".

Although he is the manager and responsible person of the two-family companies, he has a very small ownership stake in them, only 0.07 %of "Alsat-M" television.

"VeVe Group" owns 99.86% of "Alsat-M", and the ownership of the company is shared by Ferik's mother, Imihane Velia with 88 percent and his wife Zana Velia with 12 %.

Zana Velia works as a project manager at "VeVe Group", while Imihane Velia, apart from being present in the ownership structure, does not appear in public and has no visible role in family businesses.
